Lansing Catholic High School Announces Four New Board Members

Lansing Catholic High School announces the appointment of four new members of its Board of Trustees, with terms that began July 2019.  

Joining the Board of Trustees are Mike Green, Bill Hufnagel C89, Edmund Tillett C98, and Mandy Wildern.  “We welcome Ed Tillett, Mandy Wildern, Mike Green and Bill Hufnagel, to Lansing Catholic High School’s Board of Trustees and look forward to the value their extensive experience in the areas of negotiations, school administration and finance will bring,” said Joseph R. Corace, President of Lansing Catholic High School. “Additionally, we are grateful for the service provided by Jacob Allstott, Marci Fox, and Joe Garcia for the past three years, and I want to thank them for their contributions.

Michael Green is a Michigan attorney and financial advisor with Capitol Income Consultants of Lansing and Grand Rapids, providing financial and estate planning and elder law.  He holds licenses in securities, insurance, law and real estate.  His experience includes administrative and policy positions in the executive, judicial and legislative branches of government.  He was a business owner and has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations including St. Vincent Catholic Charities, Habitat for Humanity of Michigan and the Michigan Board of Athletic Control.  His has three grown children, Michael, a 2008 graduate of Lansing Catholic, Alexandra and Kali all of whom attended St. Thomas Aquinas School, East Lansing. 

Bill Hufnagel was raised in Lansing and currently resides in East Lansing.  He is President/CEO of Dart Bank and is active in St Thomas Aquinas Parish and School as well as, other non-profit and community service organizations. Bill is married to Kimberly and has three daughters: Natalie, Nicole and Nina.

Amanda Wildern is a the Principal at St. Mary School in Charlotte, MI.  In her 20 years in education, she has experience working with high school students who have emotional impairments, served as a Behavior Specialist, and also as the Director of Special Education.  Mandy has a BA in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood endorsement and EI Special Education certification, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and a Master of Arts in Special Education Administration.  Mandy and her husband have two daughters. 

“Ed, Mandy, Mike and Bill are all accomplished executives that embody Lansing Catholic’s values and bring with them a demonstrated track record in all areas related to School governance,” said Board of Trustees Chairman Kevin Neugent.
